A delicious peach julep is never out of season! We've been scouring (and trolling) the internet for the perfect julep recipe and have one that is quite amazing.
½ fresh white peach, pitted and diced, skin on
6 fresh mint leaves
¼ cup (60 ml) bourbon
1 ounce peach-flavored liqueur like Bols (you can substitute peach schnapps, but your sip will be a little sweeter)
2 dashes of bitters, peach if you can find it
White peach slice and mint sprig, for garnish
1.In a Collins glass, lightly muddle the diced peach with the mint leaves.
2.Add the bourbon, liqueur, bitters, and enough ice to fill the glass.
3.Top with a splash of club soda and lightly stir.
4.Garnish with a peach slice and a sprig of mint
